The Priesthood and Offerings
Under Christ

The Priesthood Under Christ

  • Alahayim the Father established a everlasting priesthood under Christ Yache the High priest

Hebrews 6:13-15

For when Alahayim made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself, 14 Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee. 15 And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise. 16 For men verily swear by the greater: and an oath for confirmation is to them an end of all strife.

  • Just as He swore to Abraham and fulfilled his promise after Abraham patiently endured, so likewise Christ had received what was promised to him after having endured the process;

Hebrews 6:17-20

Wherein Alahayim, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath: 18 That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for Alahayim to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us: 19 Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil; 20 Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Yache, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

  • The change of the priesthood was necessary for our salvation by better laws of sacrifices under Christ’s priesthood.

Hebrews 7:11-28

If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?12 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law. 13 For he of whom these things are spoken pertaineth to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar. 14 For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood. 15 And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest, 16 Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life. 17 For he testifieth, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. 18 For there is verily a disannling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof. 19 For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto Alahayim. 20 And inasmuch as not without an oath he was made priest: 21 (For those priests were made without an oath; but this with an oath by him that said unto him, The Lord sware and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec:) 22 By so much was Yache made a surety of a better testament. 23 And they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by reason of death: 24 But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood. 25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto Alahayim by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. 26 For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens; 27 Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, when he offered up himself. 28 For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore.

Hebrews 2:10

For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

Hebrews 2:14-18

Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; 15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. 16 For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham. 17 Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to Alahayim, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. 18 For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.

Hebrews 3:1-2

Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Yache; 2 Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was faithful in all his house.

Hebrews 4:14-16

Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Yache the Son of Alahayim, let us hold fast our profession. 15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Hebrews 7:12

For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.

  • With the change of the priesthood wherein Christ, the Son, is the High Priest, there is a change of the laws of sacrifices and offerings for Believers

Hebrews 10:4-10

For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins. 5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me: 6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure. 7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O Alahayim. 8 Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law; 9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O Alahayim. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.

Hebrews 10:10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Yache Christ once for all.

Colossians 2:16-17

Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: 17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

  • As the body of Christ, we don’t have to offer the meat, drink, and animal sacrifices and offerings for sins, as we have Christ our atonement and the spiritual offerings to offer up according to the laws of his priesthood.

What Are True Offerings?

  • Christ the High priest speaks on the true offerings of the Lord Ahayah Alahayim:

ODE of Solomon 20

1. I am a priest of the Lord, and to him I serve as a priest; 2. And to him I offer the offering of his thought.

  • Having Alahayim in all our thoughts is an offering unto him that will bring forth fruit to help us keep the law, for keeping the law bringeth offering enough.

Sir 35:1

He that keepeth the law bringeth offerings enough: he that taketh heed to the commandment offereth a peace offering.

ODE of Solomon 20

3. For his thought is not like the world, nor like the flesh, nor like them who serve according to the flesh. 4. The offering of the Lord is righteousness, and purity of heart and lips. 5. Offer your inward being faultlessly; and do not let your compassion oppress compassion; and do not you yourself oppress anyone.

  • True offerings are righteousness in thoughts and works with purity of heart and lips (words) in self sacrifice unto Alahayim having compassion upon all and doing no wrong to any one out of love for Alahayim and others through Christ.

What Are True Burnt Offerings?

  • The sacrifice of ourselves in our own will to perform Alahayim’s will, is a true burnt offering

Prayer of Azariah 1:15-18

Neither is there at this time prince, or prophet, or leader, or burnt offering, or sacrifice, or oblation, or incense, or place to sacrifice before thee, and to find mercy. 16 Nevertheless in a contrite heart and an humble spirit let us be accepted. 17 Like as in the burnt offerings of rams and bullocks, and like as in ten thousands of fat lambs: so let our sacrifice be in thy sight this day, and grant that we may wholly go after thee: for they shall not be confounded that put their trust in thee. 18 And now we follow thee with all our heart, we fear thee, and seek thy face.

Ecclesiasticus 2:1-4, 6, 5

My son, if thou come to serve the Lord, prepare thy soul for temptation. 2 Set thy heart aright, and constantly endure, and make not haste in time of trouble. 3 Cleave unto him, and depart not away, that thou mayest be increased at thy last end. 4 Whatsoever is brought upon thee take cheerfully, and be patient when thou art changed to a low estate. 6 Believe in him, and he will help thee; order thy way aright, and trust in him. 5 For gold is tried in the fire, and acceptable men in the furnace of adversity.

Wisdom of Solomon 3:5-6

And having been a little chastised, they shall be greatly rewarded: for Alahayim proved them, and found them worthy for himself. 6 As gold in the furnace hath he tried them, and received them as a burnt offering.

Romans 12:1-2

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of Alahayim, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto Alahayim, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of Alahayim.

  • The renewing of the mind to have Alahayim in all the thoughts ensuring we are thinking and doing what’s acceptable, perfect and according to Their will in our daily trials to purge us through adversity will enable us to be living sacrifices ensuring everything we think to do or say is in love

Testament of Gad 6:1

1 And now, my children, I exhort you, love ye each one his brother, and put away hatred from your hearts, love one another in deed, and in word, and in the inclination of the soul.

Romans 13:8-10

Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. 9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

  • Operating in love to fulfill the law is the true means of making offerings and sacrifices unto the Lord Ahayah Alahayim;

Ecclesiasticus 35:1

He that keepeth the law bringeth offerings enough: he that taketh heed to the commandment offereth a peace offering. 2 He that requiteth a goodturn offereth fine flour; and he that giveth alms sacrificeth praise. 3 To depart from wickedness is a thing pleasing to the Lord; and to forsake unrighteousness is a propitiation. 4 Thou shalt not appear empty before the Lord. 5 For all these things are to be done because of the commandment. 6 The offering of the righteous maketh the altar fat, and the sweet savour thereof is before the most High.

  • For these reasons, when offerings and sacrifices are required, faith in Christ’s atonement, praying that he intercede for us and whatever wrongs we confess unto him, aligning our thoughts with the will of Alahayim (having him in all our thoughts) and keeping the commandments out of love and compassion suffices for fulfilling the law of the Spirit of life through Christ’s priesthood.

Romans 8:1-2

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Yache, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Yache hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

Understanding the Sin Offering

The Bullock without Blemish

Leviticus 4:1

And Ahayah spake unto Moses, saying, 2 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a soul shall sin through ignorance against any of the commandments of Ahayah concerning things which ought not to be done, and shall do against any of them: 3 If the priest that is anointed do sin according to the sin of the people; then let him bring for his sin, which he hath sinned, a young bullock without blemish unto Ahayah for a sin offering.

  • The bull without blemish for a sin offering represents Christ

Heb 10:4-10

10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Yache Christ once for all.

2 Corinthians 5:21

For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of Alahayim in him.

Romans 8:3-4

For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, Alahayim sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: 4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

The Killing of the Bullock

Leviticus 4:4

And he shall bring the bullock unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before Ahayah; and shall lay his hand upon the bullock's head, and kill the bullock before Ahayah.

  • Killing of the bullock represents Christ

1Pe 3:18

For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to Alahayim, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:

The Anointed High Priest

Leviticus 4:5-6

And the priest that is anointed shall take of the bullock's blood, and bring it to the tabernacle of the congregation: 6 And the priest shall dip his finger in the blood, and sprinkle of the blood seven times before Ahayah, before the vail of the sanctuary.

  • Representation of the anointed high priest Christ who through his flesh (the veil) sprinkles our hearts (the holy place) before Ahayah [Heb 9:11-12; 10:19-22]

Heb 9:11-12

But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; 12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

Heb 10:19-22

Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Yache, 20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; 21 And having an high priest over the house of Alahayim; 22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

The Fat Offering upon the Altar of Sweet Incense

Leviticus 4:7-10

And the priest shall put some of the blood upon the horns of the altar of sweet incense before Ahayah, which is in the tabernacle of the congregation; and shall pour all the blood of the bullock at the bottom of the altar of the burnt offering, which is at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. 8 And he shall take off from it all the fat of the bullock for the sin offering; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards, 9 And the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, which is by the flanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away, 10 As it was taken off from the bullock of the sacrifice of peace offerings: and the priest shall burn them upon the altar of the burnt offering.

  • The true fat offering is being merciful and having that merciful heart as Alahayim looks like

Sirach 47:2

As is the fat taken away from the peace offering, so was David chosen out of the children of Israel.

Sir 38:9-11

My son, in thy sickness be not negligent: but pray unto the Lord, and he will make thee whole. 10  Leave off from sin, and order thine hands aright, and cleanse thy heart from all wickedness. 11  Give a sweet savour, and a memorial of fine flour; and make a fat offering, as not being.

Ecclesiasticus 35:1, 6

He that keepeth the law bringeth offerings enough: he that taketh heed to the commandment offereth a peace offering. 6 The offering of the righteous maketh the altar fat, and the sweet savour thereof is before the most High.

The Carrying of the Bullock without the Camp

Leviticus 4:11-12

And the skin of the bullock, and all his flesh, with his head, and with his legs, and his inwards, and his dung, 12 Even the whole bullock shall he carry forth without the camp unto a clean place, where the ashes are poured out, and burn him on the wood with fire: where the ashes are poured out shall he be burnt.

  • Carrying the bullock out of the camp represents Christ suffering without the gate on the cross

Heb 13:11-14

For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp. 12  Wherefore Yache also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate. 13  Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach. 14  For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.

  • The true sin offering was Christ’s atonement and the proper offering for sins in gratitude under the Law of the Spirit of Life is to offer praises to Alahayim continually and doing good works in obedience to the commandments for our salvation:

Heb 13:15-16

15  By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to Alahayim continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name. 16  But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices Alahayim is well pleased.

Psalms 50:23

Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of Alahayim.
